Welcome
to a small NZ electronic and chip collectors information website.
Quickly
updated recently !
I have been
collecting various IC processor and chips for about 20 years
now, since I was given a microprocessor evaluation kit in
the early 80's. This kit contained some of the past and popular
processors of the time. For some unknown reason it followed
me around from then on, and on its journey had many more parts
added to it over time. When I first set up this website, it
was in the hope to be able to find some other nutters out
there that do the same, as I was unable to find anyone elses
info on the web. Now this hobby has become very popular and
there is many collectors on the web worldwide. Unfortunately,
I am in NZ, and in NZ we dont have many people and or the
vast amount of redundant technology to share these small artefacts
with, so I rely on the kind donations of many people who find
old junk lying around in garages and cupboards, and have even
had some boxes of electronic memorablia sent to me from collector
friends in Australia.
If you would
like to donate old electronic computers, parts, chips, games,
phones, radios, and any odd gadgets you dont want it would
be much appreciated.
Contact me by
email, syntheticlone(at)yahoo.co.nz (please reformat this
email address properly, replacing the (at) with a @ symbol)
or phone NZ(021)1183772. If you are a business or enterprise,
we can place advertising links back to you, if you like. If
you are a collector as well, I am willing to trade or swap
stuff of interest.
If you have any
photos of interesting electronic widgets, or circuit boards,
I will gladly display them here.
I receive a few
requests for prices on items on the website, however - nothing
is for sale here, over the years I have taken photos of interesting
items, and included them here for viewing only. If you have
info on anything here, I will gladly share it, as it is what
this website is all about.
